A Short is any vertical video under 60 seconds. Upload one and it lands here the moment transcoding finishes — there is no account to create and no review queue.

Nothing is tagged by hand. After ffprobe reads an upload, VideoTex sets the Short flag itself, and it needs both of these to be true:
- 60 seconds or shorter. Measured from the probed duration, not from the file name.
- Taller than it is wide. A 1080×1920 phone clip qualifies; a 1920×1080 one is a normal video.
Anything else stays in the main feed with the full player. Landscape or longer clips are not rejected — they simply are not Shorts.
